Bag Embroidery and Sample Approval
Bag Embroidery and Sample Approval
Embroidery adds a textured logo to suitable bags and pouches. Results depend on fabric, construction and artwork working together. Start with the intended bag and assess whether the design can be stitched cleanly in the available space.
Discuss your bag requirement
Assess fabric and construction
Stable fabric supports stitching differently from lightweight or open mesh material. Backing, stitch density and access require assessment before confirmation. A finished bag with a lining or pocket may restrict access, while embroidery before assembly needs construction planning. Do not assume every catalogue product accepts the same logo position or design size. Ask which panel is technically suitable.
Simplify fine artwork
Supply original artwork and intended width in centimetres. Fine lines, small lettering and closely spaced elements may need adjustment for legibility. Review simplification before digitising or sampling. Select thread colours from available references. A physical sample is preferable where matching an established identity matters; digital previews cannot establish the texture and colour of thread on fabric.
Consider the inside
The reverse of embroidery may include backing and stitches. For pouches, consider whether contents could catch and whether lining is needed. Check that a logo does not secure a functional pocket or restrict its opening. These decisions belong in the specification, before bags are produced. Review any lining change alongside dimensions because it can reduce usable space.
Review a representative sample
Assess embroidery on the proposed fabric, not only a screen preview. Inspect alignment, puckering, readable lettering and spacing from handles. Check the bag flat and filled. For repeated cleaning, request care instructions and an appropriate trial before bulk approval. Keep photographs of the front and inside, and record the approved dimensions and colour references for future orders.
Quote with necessary detail
Identify SKU, logo dimensions, positions, thread colours and quantities. Individual names and multiple logo versions change preparation and handling, so include them early. State the UAE city and receipt deadline. Digitising, samples, minimum quantities, production and freight are quotation-dependent. Obtain written confirmation before issuing an order or arranging a launch around an assumed completion date.
For individual names or departments, supply a checked list in the order required. Confirm capitalisation and spelling before digitising; a general logo approval does not automatically approve every personalised version.
